For accurate and reliable temperature readings, it is recommended to store the thermometer between 4°F and 131°F (-20°C to 55°C) with less than 85% humidity, and use it in environments between 41°F and 104°F (5°C to 40°C) with 15% to 85% humidity.

Regarding battery replacement, the battery symbol will appear on the LCD display when the battery is drained and needs to be replaced. To do so, remove the battery cover and insert a new CR 1632, 3V battery, ensuring the "+" sign faces up.
